Cruise and Maritime
in 2009, Cruise & Maritime Voyages (CMV) is Britain’s newest privately
owned cruise line, operating no-fly cruises from a choice of UK ports. CMV
pride themselves on offering more leisurely and traditional home-from-home
style of cruising aboard small to medium ships. Composed of 3 ships, the fleet
operates cruises ranging from 1-42 nights, sailing from eight ports around the UK.
to their smaller size, the ships can reach less accessible ports that larger
resort ships cannot, allowing for a wider range of destinations ranging from Europe
to the more exotic Amazon and Caribbean. Their flagship, Marco Polo, offers child-free destination cruises. Though children are welcome onboard Astor and Discovery, there are no child-specific facilities on the ships.
Nominated for 'Favourite Cruise Line 2013' by Globe Travel Awards, 95% of cruise passengers have rated the enjoyment of their cruises aboard Marco Polo, Discovery and Astor either good or excellent.
